Welcome to the 5th International Conference on Nanomaterials Applied to Life Sciences 2026 (NALS 2026), organized by the University of Vigo and the Hybrid Nanomaterial Group of CINBIO. The conference will take place at the Sede Afundación Vigo (Spain) from 11th to 13th March 2026.

NALS events are promoted by the NanoBioAp Cluster, a network of over 70 researchers from various Spanish research institutions. The rapid and relentless advances in nanotechnology demand multidisciplinary and cross-disciplinary approaches , from the design of novel materials to their practical applications. NALS 2026 aims to foster synergies, encourage lasting collaborations, and strengthen the link between academia and industry, working together to develop disruptive techniques and devices based on nanomaterials for applications in Medicine, Biology, Environment, and more.

NALS 2026 will bring together researchers from academia and industry across materials science, chemistry, engineering, medicine, and biology to build new collaborations, reinforce existing partnerships, and push forward innovation.
